Everyone likes being served quickly in a restaurant - but this (picture) is ridiculous! It's the fastest dinner table in the world, complete with plates and glasses, antique silver, dazzling white tablecloth and bowls of (mock) fruit. And it goes at 115 miles per hour!! The table - called 'Fast Food' (groan) - was made by Buckinghamshire wacky car enthusiast Perry Watkins, who's already made the lowest and the smallest street-legal cars in the world. Now he hopes he's topped the previous record for quick furniture, leaving a sofa that went at 92 mph 3 years ago absolutely nowhere. But Perry admits that going that fast was far from easy. "It was actually worse than I thought it would be. It felt like 200mph" he says. "The tablecloth was flapping away and I was trying to spot the finish line. It was quite difficult!"



He'd better not try having soup... that helmet wouldn't be white for long!!
