Saw a “near miss” (Uncle Ron's saying) with a dog on the way home tonight. There was this mum with a double pram and a little one and she was on her mobile phone. A boy in a baseball cap with a dog had stopped to let her go past and her little one was saying hallo to the dog. It was in Rawsley Road.

Mum said “I don’t like the look of that” and true, the dog’s tail was kind of half-down, and the fur on his back was all bristly.

Then SUDDENLY the dog snapped at the little one. LUCKILY it didn’t catch her ‘cos she fell backwards and sat down and started crying. The baseball cap boy gave an ENORMOUS tug on the lead and brought the dog back but it was still growling and barking.

They were having a MEGA row when we went past! But why didn’t the mum stop her little one doing that? Durrrr!
