Sunday 19th September

Annie came round today. She’s got a new car, well her mum’s has I mean. Dad saw it and went out in his dressing gown to talk to their driver, Armando. EM-BA-RA-SSING oh no Dada!!! They were out their ages doing what Mum calls Man-Car Stuff. She said “Looks like it’s your Dad’s weekend for not getting dressed!” which made us giggle.

He came in going “It’s a Maybach! (???) Out-STANDING!!”

Annie’s doing really well on our ‘Holiday Alphabet’ project, she’s up to ‘K’, aarrgh!

Anyway we had Mum’s special roast chicken and crispy roast potatoes and broad beans in this creamy sauce for lunch. Annie said “I must tell Irina!” (that’s their cook!) Said it must be nice being a richie and having all that and she said yeah but she liked doing things herself and couldn’t! She actually wanted to wash up but Mum made me too.

Gave Mum delicious chocs to say thank you. Just had one… mmmm…
