Getting near summer holidays now so our Craigalvon Picture Wall might not be ready, it’ll be strange to see it after the holidays… kind of nice too.

Best thing we did at Craigalvon was “abseiling” (you say “apseiling”.) Looked REALLY SCARY ‘cos what you have to do is walk backwards down this really high rock holding onto a rope round your back (there’s another rope round your middle which is a safety rope in case you fall.)

REALLY didn’t want to do it but our Teamster Julia said “This is about working together and supporting each other” so when we went down we each had ‘Rock Buddies’ who helped us and talked us down. My Rock Buddies were Kylie and Peter, and I was a Rock Buddy to them. We went to a place near Craigalvon called Kinster Crags. Looked SO TALL and SUCH a long way down!!

Didn’t think I could do it but had to pretend I … supper!
